Women's Service Line Strategic Plan Development
I am working with two other SSG team members to create a service line strategic plan. We have created a four phase approach that includes data collection, strategy development, implementation planning and stakeholder engagement and communication. Some of my work has been specifically designing workshops to facilitate strategic discussion with physician leaders in the service line. Additionally, I have been tasked with interpreting data from physician surveys to use them meaningfully when creating the strategic plan.
Market Analysis
I am working with several members of the growth team to perform various analysis for specific submarkets. Some of this analysis includes using data to interpret certain trends in the market to make strategic recommendations for that service area. We also have performed environmental scans, competitive asset analysis, and strategic mapping to guide the overall analysis and discussion of that market.
Global Health Program
There are several projects that I am spearheading for Atrium Health's Global Health Program. Some of this work includes competitive price shopping for certain internationally desired services, global patient website research, concierge service research, and a Request For Proposal to host the 2020 US Cooperative for International Patient Programs convention. This is a fairly new program so the development has been really interesting to be a part of.
Competitive Intelligence
I have been working on creating competitive intelligence profiles for various health systems, hospitals and other healthcare entities. This has required various forms of research, work with our finance team, and the use of outside healthcare information vendors all compiled into an informative tool for some of the executive here at Atrium Health.
